Applicator wands are stainless steel tightly wound with stainless steel wire. The diameters of the rods and wires vary in size depending on the type of application. The diameters of the wires, in coiled form, regulate the thickness of the coating. During the manufacturing process, strict tolerances are maintained along with strict quality control. Each item is 100% inspected and individually packaged.

Characteristics:
The thickness of the coating is governed by the slot area between the wire coils. This slot or space allows the correct amount of coating to pass through. The amount that has passed flows out or freezes, leaving a smooth, uniform thickness on the substrate.
The slot area is determined by the size of the cable, so the larger the cable, the larger the slot. With this coating method, an exact coating thickness of fractions of a thousand and more can be achieved.
The desired thickness can be repeated over and over again with little waste of time and money. Applicator wands are available in any length, a variety of diameters and almost any wire size. They are made of ground and polished steel and the finest wires.
