  • The Hoffman Tear Hardness Tester was developed for the comparative evaluation of the tear resistance and adhesion of many types of coatings.

    Characteristics:
    This instrument consists of a four-wheeled cart, a 0-20 graduated scale arm that is permanently attached to the cart in a counterbalanced condition about the pivot axis, and a scraping tool with a sharp circular edge mounted at 45° from the flat. test surface.
