sponge box

The sponge box is used to contain and weigh a sponge specified for use in the test equipment. The sponge box can be used with any of the Gardco models. The drive fork of the machine can carry two boxes of sponges at any time for multi-sample testing. Sponges for use in the sponge box are available as separate items.

The sponge box is designed for a sponge that is 3.9" long and 3.1" wide. Adjustable anchor bolts allow the use of sponges other than the normal 1.25" thickness per specification. The sponge box is constructed of 1/16" stainless steel and has a weight of 16 ounces including removable weight.
