It is designed to lower and raise the viscometer so that the rotating shear element follows a helical path through the sample.
By always cutting fresh materials, the axis of the T-bar remains in contact with the sample.
The reverse function of the helipath support allows measurements to be made in a short period of time.
Relative viscosity measurements of non-flowing substances such as gels, pastes, paint dyes and inks.
Slowly raise and lower the viscometer to always maintain contact with the sample materials.
