    Instructions:
- Place the meter on the wet film at a 90° angle
- Press on the movie.
- Remove and look at the deepest tooth that has paint and the next top tooth that is not coated.
- The thickness of the wet film is between these two readings.
- Clean the pressure gauge with any suitable solvent immediately after use.
- The drawing indicates that the tooth marked with 3 thousandths of an inch has made contact with the wet paint and the tooth marked with 4 thousandths of an inch has not. This indicates that the true wet film thickness of the material is between 3 and 4 mils.
