Taber Sample Cutter

AND The Model 5000 Sample Cutter is a manually operated tabletop cutter designed to cut a 107 mm diameter sample and drill a 6.5 mm center hole. Heavy-duty cutting blade works on a variety of thin, flexible materials including: paper; cardboard; eraser; leather; vinyl; linoleum; textiles; Film(s; flexible plastics; carpet; more others.

A compressible silicone rubber pad secures the sample material during the cutting operation. For extremely thin materials, two aluminum shims are provided to reduce the gap between the top and bottom pads. Precision cut samples for the Taber rotary abrasive or cut/scratch tester.
