Test Sample Tray, 24" (Long) with "C" Clamps

Test Sample Tray, 24" (long) with "C" clamps is for use with the 10" models. All models can be used without the tray when there is no need to contain liquids.

When the chuck is not in use, any length test specimen, exceeding the stroke length plus five inches, may be clamped directly to the base of the machine or with a glass plate between the base and the test specimen. Glass plates, cut to fit the trays, are available as separate items.

The tray is constructed of 1/16" thick stainless steel and is equipped with four 3/16" long round legs secured to the bottom surface that are spaced to straddle the base plate of the tester. The tray is also equipped with a drain with plug closure. This design serves not only to position the tray on the base, but also allows the use of "C" clamps to secure the test sample in the most advantageous position.

The clamps can be used anywhere along either end of the tray or on the outside edge. Two C-type clamps are supplied with each tray.
