  • Characteristics:

    • Compact design that mounts directly to the wheel hub.
    • Redesigned for easier testing.
    • The positive stop on the scaler head fixation ensures correct alignment of the scaler head.
    • Easy attachment to the taber sander.
    • The fixation includes a top support that prevents the scratching head from rotating.
    • The range of materials includes vinyl, coated fabrics, leather, textiles, nonwovens, fibreboard, rubber mats, carpets, plastics and painted products (including soft coating paint and pad printing on plastic substrates).
    • Scraping heads referenced in automotive specifications. Three unique pig head configurations are available to meet existing test methods.
      • Scraper head type A
        • 76.2mm radius tip with edge radius (approximately 0.3mm).
        • 7.6mm blade.
        • Referenced in SAE J365 and Ford Motor Company FLTM BN. 108-04.
      • Scraper head type B
        • 45 knife edge tip.
        • 3.8mm blade.
        • Reference in Ford Motor Company FLTM BN 108-04.
      • Type C scraper head
        • 9.9 mm radius tip with 1 mm radius corner.
        • 7.6mm blade.
        • General Motors reference GM99911P.
    • There are scraper head kits for older sanders.
