  • All EZ Viscosity Cups are made of stainless steel and are calibrated. Without certificate

    • The EZ Flow cup formula for each cup in the series matches the applicable ASTM formula in D4212 at the recommended calibration level.
    • EZ Viscosity Dip Cups are compatible with ASTM D1084 Viscosity of Adhesives and ASTM D816.
    • The EZ Viscosity Cup calibration is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
    • Calibration and certification procedures comply with ISO/IEC 17025, where applicable.
    • Guaranteed 3% tolerance for EZ Viscosity Cups meets and exceeds ASTM D4212.
    • Conversion table relating flow time in seconds, to the nearest tenth of a second, to viscosity in centistokes supplied with each EZ™ Dip Cup.
    • EZ Dip Cup holes are machined rather than drilled to ensure exact centering at the base of the cup hemisphere and minimal burr formation. This ensures an orifice of the specified length and correct symmetrical outflow.
    • The EZ Viscosity Cup support rods are offset from the side of the cup and attach to the side wall of the cup below the rim of the cup. This eliminates errors due to drainage of test material from supporting surfaces.
    • Increasing the gap width of the support bars by more than 20% and lowering the weld to the cup provide the best possible conditions for cleaning.
    • Viscosity cups are non-returnable items, subject to final sale.
