G Series Viscosity Oils (Gardner) are viscosity standards used for calibration of Gardco Viscosity Cups.

Viscosity standards are used for reference solutions and are designed for the calibration of viscosity cups, viscometers and rheometers. They facilitate accurate measurement for a variety of procedures associated with determining the resistance to flow of a fluid. These viscosity oils expressly prepared by Cannon Instrument Company for Paul N. Gardner Company are produced in accordance with: ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 17025 and Guide 34 and ISO 9001.

Viscosities for all standards sold by CANNON are based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) value of 1.0016 mPa (centipoise) for water at 20 °C (68 °F). All standards are traceable to NIST. CANNON has obtained ISO 9002 registration for manufacturing and certification of viscosity standards.
