Bresle Patch Salt Pollution Kit with NEW LAQUAtwin B-771 Meter
It is essential that the level of contaminants on a surface be measured prior to coating to ensure the quality of the coating and that its optimal lifespan is achieved. If the coating is applied to a contaminated surface that is not properly prepared, it could fail prematurely, resulting in expensive coating and high maintenance costs.
Many inspectors are required to test surfaces in accordance with ISO 8502-6 and ISO/DIS 8502-9, which specify testing using the Bresle patch as a method of extracting soluble salts from test surfaces. The Bresle patch is adhered to the test surface and distilled water is pumped into the patch with a syringe. Water is pumped between the patch and the substrate, causing soluble salts on the test surface to dissolve in the water.
Bresle patches are supplied with Bresle test kits and replacement patches can now be purchased for use with existing test kits.
