He Crosshatch Paint Adhesion Test (PAT) kit produced by Gardco is a visual adhesion test used to evaluate adhesion by cutting the paint or coating into small squares, which reduces lateral adhesion. The Paint and Coatings Adhesion Test Kit contains all necessary tools and materials, except the multi-tooth cutting blade, to perform adhesion testing on paints applied to a flat, uniform surface in accordance with ASTM D3359 test method. , method B and DIN Standard No. 53151. The multi-tooth cutting blade is supplied separately to allow the choice between the various designs available.

Kit includes (2) PA-205810 blade holder/handle with guide with nylon guard and guide, hex wrench for changing blades, de-scaling brush, 5x LED handheld magnifier with batteries (magnifier has 2 LED lights and glass lens 1.5"), adhesive tape - PA-280630*, instruction guide, and a sturdy plastic case with handle. All components are nested in die-cut foam inside the case. Blades sold separately [choose two (2) cutters for curved surfaces.
